ACCESSIBILITY
As Kingston’s oldest operating museum, we are committed to accessibility for all visitors. Access to our collections and information resources is one of our primary and defining responsibilities. We recognize the diversity of our visitors’ abilities and needs and offer a variety of programs and services to ensure the accessibility of the museum and its collections. We utilize meaningful community partnerships to continue striving to meet, and where possible, exceed the requirement of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

AUDIO TOUR
We offer a bilingual audio tour and assistive equipment. Our audio tour includes detailed physical and navigational instructions for individuals with visual and physical disabilities. It is divided into four sections: the beginning, barracks level, basement and gun platform, which take visitors on a unique journey into the history of Murney Tower.
3D VIRTUAL TOUR
The museum has a 3D virtual tour. If you can’t access the museum due to accessibility challenges or would like to have a museum experience from the comfort of your home, you can take a virtual tour of the space.
